Here we are in Havasupi for Tyson's project. He took around 4 cords of wood, 150 bags of oranges, 50 toys and blankets and clothes for the tribe. Ron, Tyson, Trent and Trey and Mumphy and Pops drove up Friday the 12th with all the things that were donated. They had to take everything down by helicopter. It took many loads, and then Ron,Tyson and I drove back up on Sunday and were helicoptered in and we were able to have a church service and pass out toys, candy, the oranges, clothes and blankets. It was really neat. We then walked through the village and passed out more candy, oranges, gloves, and beanies. It was a great experince. Elder Tingy was able to come with us and he was the first mission president in the area in 1969. The people love him.

Okay Morgan came home for Thanksgiving- Who was more excited, Her or us? We had a great time with her and enjoyed her being home with us. Trent and Trey's hair was getting pretty long but they insisted on waiting for her , they love her so much and couldn't wait for her to cut their hair and show us what she is learning! Even Rissa got a little trim. ( notice Ron in the background having a little snack! :)

We went and took family pictures the other day here are a few we took- They aren't the greatest because our tripod wouldnt work so we had to get some random man to take them of our whole family..... hahaha! but the ones of the kids turned out good-

OK 1 MORE
HAPPY BIRTHDAY MORGAN!!!
Today is Morgan's birthday and she turns 19!! We love her so much and are so glad she is the oldest in our family. She has been such a great example to her family and friends.
We are so proud of her!!!
Hope you have a great day MORGS!

I just found this picture of Marissa swimming. so I thought I would add it. GO MVT!!
Football season is over!!! We had a great time. Ron was able to help coach on both boys teams and I think everyone had fun. Trent was on the Scavengers and Trey was on the Gun Slingers. One night Trent got to play on Red Mountain's Big Field, under the lights. The game didn't start until 7:00 pm. It was so cold!! I really think it was maybe in the low 60s but I am a whimp! It was really fun.

HALLOWEEN

Here are the cute boys on Halloween- They wanted to be TORO blue guys and go to the Mountain View Game- They didnt even trick -or - treat. They had so much fun and the real Toro blue guys tried to get them on the field but the cheer coach said no. HOW RUDE!!! They did it with Zach , Tyler and Tanner Ricks.

They had a great time !

We used craft paint and then after we painted my friend told me we should have added liquid dish soap, it makes it easier to get off, it goes on better and doesnt crack. So if you ever paint your kids blue here is the tip.

Tyson football 08

Tyson is a freshman and is the quarterback for Poston. He broke his collar bone at the beginning of the season so he is happy to be back in.
So this is Morgan at school in Provo- She is loving school and doing really well. Here are just some fun pictures of her.

So here is Marissa and her friends at their party. These 5 girls turned 16 all within a weeks time so we decided to have a great big party ( over 200 kids) and let them all celebrate together. Each girl had their own cake. There was a dj and dancing and food. Great times! I know I could not have pulled this party off by self so it was fun to share it with friends.

Yesterday was Ron and Marissa's birthday! A couple of Marissa's friends brought her breakfast in bed and then we watched conference. After the first session Ron's parents and Brandon and Brittani came over for lunch and then watched the second session. We had great day. Marissa had a few friends over in the evening for cupcakes and socialism. It was a fun day!!
On Saturday Marissa went to Homecoming. She had a lot of fun for her first date. Here are a couple of pictures.

Well we got Morgan all settled and I think she happy. She really likes school and feels like she is good at it. Marissa had her first swim meet. She is swimming for Mountain View and made varsity as a sophomore. She felt good about that. I was happy for her. Tyson broke his collar bone (while Ron and I were up taking Morgan) at a scrimmage and is out for 4-6 weeks. He was really disappointed. He is doing really well though and will have x-rays next Monday. We will see....
Trent just moved classes, he went into a 4th -5th combo and seems to like it. Trey is doing well and likes school. On the way home from taking Morgan, Ron and I went to the Salt Lake temple, the Manti temple and the St. George temple. It was so fun and a great way to spent our 20th anniversary. Who would have thought we would have taken our daughter to school on our 20th??
Crazy!!! Well life is good.

Hi we are taking Morgan up to school tomorrow!!! I am excited for her but so sad at the same time! I know this is the best thing for her and I know this is what is supposed to happen but it makes me sad to think that our family will never be the same again. My little family is changing and growing up!

OOPS!! I forgot Trent and Trey made the city divisional championship in swimming! They both did great! Trey went to the city meet and got 2nd in Freestyle and 3rd in Breaststroke( look at his medals) and 4th in the Individual relay. They both did awesome and had a great year!
Okay so I have been wanting to update so here is a condensed version. We went to Ron's family reunion in Verden New Mexico and stayed at an old church that is no longer a church, It was fun to have everyone together and have enough room for everyone to have their own space.
Ron and I took the boys to Heber- Tyson had Toro football camp for the week and we went and watched some and went fishing and just enjoyed the cool.
Then we went to Utah to see the school Morgan will be going to in about 3 weeks! We were up there for the 24th of July so we were able to have a picinic and see the fireworks.
Then we went to California the next week for Tyson to work out with a quater back coach and we all enjpyed the beach!
We are getting ready for school to start now and to take Morgan up to Utah!

I have been waiting for our computer (which decided it needed a vacation) so I could put pictures when I updated this blog but we still dont have it so i am using the other computer which doesn't really have pictures on it.
Well summer is winding down. We have a semi final swim meet tonight and then the city championship on Wednesday. Both Trent and Trey will be swimming and had to qualify to make it this far. They are both great swimmers but I think Trey loves it more. Trent loves football. Anyway.. we are excited for that. Tyson just got back from Toro football camp and is happy to be home and not practicing all day. Ron and I and Trent and Trey went up the last few days of camp and watched him. The camp was in Heber, Arizona. So much cooler and was fun to get away for a few days. Marissa was at girls camp and Morgan stayed home. Marissa was at EFY the week before and had a great time. Morgan has been working alot and is counting down until she leaves for Provo to cosmetology school. She said she doesnt want to count down because she knows she will be homesick but she is in limbo right now and wants to get on with life.

Tyson got home from EFY and I think he had a great time. Here are some pictures of him and his friend Blake being boys..

We went to Roosevelt Lake and had a great time. Here are some great pictures!

So here is the first of my life... If anyone has any suggestions let me know.. because I am setting this up all by self and am just learning. I have a friend who blogs all year and then makes it into a book for journaling so that is what my plan is.
Morgan just graduated from Mountain View High School and will be heading to Provo to cosmetology school in August.
Marissa is getting ready to go to Mountain View and has been looking for a job. We ( me and her) get up every morning at 4:45 and she swims until 8:00 and I walk for awhile and then come home and get the rest of the kids where they need to be.
Tyson is at EFY in Provo for the week and will be home tomorrow
Trent and Trey are swimming and doing 2 basket ball camps.
I used to think summer was relaxing but I know better now.
